In downtown there are 15 entities engaged in banking and financial services. Of those establishments, nine are banks, five are credit unions, and one is a short-term personal loan agency. Of the nine banks, five are nationwide while four are regionally based. Downtown comprises 50 percent of the total physical banks, savings and loans, and credit unions in Federal Way.
